Why you should be offering beginners classes on your fitness timetable

Beginners classes are an important offering in online and community classes to bring in NEW faces!

By offering accessible classes for beginners, people in your area can try fitness for the first time and not feel out of their depth. It is a great way for those who have never tried fitness classes before to make new friends and socialise, improve mental and physical health and step out of their comfort zone. Many have never attended classes before due to confidence/ time just to name a few reasons but are YOU reaching out to these people in your community and making them feel WELCOME?

Read on to discover the 5 benefits of group fitness classes for your new clients and learn why sweating together is better than going at it alone:

    1.    Find motivation and inspiration.
The best way to motivate yourself to push through that extra rep is by having other people by your side to cheer you on. Plus, it’s hard not to get inspired by your classmates.

In a group exercise class, you don’t have to worry about being better than everyone around you. Everyone was a beginner at some point.

    2.    Proper form helps prevent injury.
One of the most valuable parts of any exercise class is its trainers. Group exercise is a great middle-ground between working out alone and hiring a personal trainer. In a group class, you have the benefit of professionals showing you how to do each move with proper form.

    3.    Be part of a community.
Being part of a “fit fam” can actually be hugely beneficial. By being part of a community, you can find support and guidance from people who are on the same journey as you.

    4.    Add variety to your workout.
Doing the same moves over and over again can get stale. Not only is it boring, but it also might be hindering your results.

    5.    Hold yourself accountable.
We all know the hardest part about working out is getting your butt to the gym. If you book that class you KNOW you will be turning up! Why not try online classes instead that fit around your schedule?
