I taught a new Fitness Pilates flow yesterday at the Big One Event In Sheffield and Kelly taught FP Meditation and Breathing, we had a wonderful day and I’ll be filming the FP Flow for Month 8 of FP VIP and also presenting the concept at the SUMMIT, which is fast approaching. Thanks to all who joined me on the webinar last night it was fantastic!
Fitness Pilates Instructors Serving Mid Life Women. As a Fitness Professional and Fitness Pilates teacher, you are seen by your clients as a trusted leader, a role model, and “font of all knowledge!” Your recommendations and opinions are highly regarded by your clients so becoming educated and informed on important health topics can have a huge impact on the women you serve. Teaching Fitness Pilates regularly we see a large proportion of women entering the 2nd phase of life which includes the Menopause. With lurid and scary headlines regularly appearing in the media, even recently in regard to HRT and Breast Cancer what role can we as Fitness Professional play to serve, inform and support our midlife women? Promoting the benefits of exercise and encouraging the participation in Fitness Pilates group classes can be lifechanging for so many struggling with menopause symptoms. Building an online community in a private Facebook group where information can be exchanged and conversations can be had will help you serve in a deeper and more meaningful way. We can signpost our women, help them pick out the evidence-based and researched backed information from the most credible sources helping them become more informed and educated. If you haven’t already set up your private group, provide weekly motivation, support, digital home workouts, subscribe to relevant groups and be the detective and let’s all work together to find the best information from trusted sources. As a Fitness Pilates Collective let’s lead the way with credible conversations and signpost our clients. I would love to know what you think.
