The Fitness Pilates Newsletter 18th September
Good Morning
Well done to all our new Fitness Pilates instructors whoβve completed their training with me this weekend
We really hope you enjoyed the training & canβt wait to get you qualified
Hope your classes are doing great this term and as part of our Fitness Pilates month we are running the Advanced Fitness Pilates in Pregnancy on Thursday (details below) and at the end of the month we have the Level 4 Pilates training with Kelly and Tom. We only run this training twice a year and you need to be working towards or have the Level 3 Pilates, there is no pre course study required as the course starts on the actual training on Zoom with Kelly so you can still book on.

Here is a 5 minute Relaxation Script for your FP Class. Let me know if this is helpful.
Welcome to Mindful Meditation in your Fitness Pilates class. Let’s take the next few minutes to centre ourselves, find peace within, and enhance our mind-body connection.
- Settle into Comfort (1 minute)
- Begin by finding a comfortable and relaxed position. Sit or lie down on your mat, close your eyes gently, and let go of any tension in your body. Feel the support of the mat beneath you.
- Focus on Your Breath (1 minute)
- Bring your awareness to your breath. Take a deep, cleansing breath in through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill with fresh, rejuvenating air. Exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any stress or tension. Let each breath bring you into this present moment.
- Body Scan (1 minute)
- Starting from the top of your head, slowly scan down through your body. Notice any areas of tension or discomfort. With each breath out, imagine releasing and softening those areas, allowing them to relax and let go.
- Incorporate Pilates Principles (1 minute)
- Integrate the principles of Pilates into your relaxation. As you breathe in, imagine lengthening and aligning your spine. As you breathe out, engage your core gently. Feel the connection between your breath and movement.
- Visualize Calmness (1 minute)
- Picture yourself in a serene, peaceful placeβperhaps a tranquil beach, a lush forest, or a quiet meadow. Feel the gentle breeze, hear the soothing sounds of nature, and immerse yourself in this tranquil environment.
- Affirmations (1 minute)
- Repeat positive affirmations silently or aloud: “I am strong, I am balanced, I am at peace.” Let these affirmations resonate within you, reinforcing your sense of self and inner calm.
- Deepen Relaxation (30 seconds)
- Take a moment to deepen your relaxation. Inhale slowly for a count of four, hold for a count of four, and then exhale slowly for a count of four. Continue this rhythmic breathing pattern, feeling your body relax further with each breath.
- Gratitude and Presence (1 minute)
- Reflect on what you’re grateful for in this momentβyour health, the opportunity to move and be present here today. Allow a sense of gratitude to fill your heart, cultivating positive energy.
- Gentle Return (30 seconds)
- As we conclude this meditation, gently bring your awareness back to the room. Wiggle your fingers and toes, slowly awakening your body.
- Closing (30 seconds)
Thank yourself for taking this time for self-care and relaxation. Carry this sense of peace and centeredness with you as you continue your day.
Thank you for practicing Mindful Meditation. Have a wonderful Pilates session, filled with peace and tranquility.
Have a fab WEEK!
Love Rachel
