Relaxation script for The beginning of a new week.
[Begin with soothing background music]
Instructor:
Welcome to our relaxation and gratitude secion of the Fitness Pilates class. Let’s take a few moments to centre ourselves and express gratitude for the new week ahead. Find a comfortable seated position, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Let’s begin.”
[Pause for a few deep breaths]
Instructor:
“As we begin, let’s first bring our awareness to our bodies. Feel the ground beneath you, supporting you. Notice any tension in your body and gently release it as you exhale.”
[Pause for a few breaths]
Instructor:
“Now, let’s think about the week ahead. Close your eyes and visualise your upcoming week filled with opportunities to inspire and motivate you, helping you on your fitness journeys. Take a moment to appreciate the positive impact this class has on your lives.”
[Pause for visualisation]
Instructor:
“As we continue, let’s express gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful practice that can bring positivity into our lives. Today, let’s focus on three things we’re grateful for. It could be related to your work, personal life, or anything that brings joy to your heart.”
[Pause for silent reflection]
Instructor:
“Think about the first thing you’re grateful for. Hold it in your mind and take a deep breath, feeling the gratitude fill you up.”
[Pause]
Instructor:
“Now, let’s move to the second thing you’re grateful for. Bring it to the forefront of your mind and take a deep breath, acknowledging the gratitude within.”
[Pause]
Instructor:
“And finally, let’s express gratitude for the third thing. Visualise it, hold it in your heart, and take a deep breath, appreciating the positivity it brings into your life.”
[Pause]
Instructor:
“Take a moment to let that gratitude settle within you. Gratitude can be a powerful source of energy and motivation for the week ahead.”
[Pause]
Instructor:
“Now, open your eyes, and let’s take one more deep breath together. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, release any remaining tension or negativity.”
[Pause for a deep breath]
Instructor:
“As we conclude this relaxation and gratitude session, remember that you have the power to inspire, motivate, and positively impact the lives of people around you this week. Embrace this opportunity and carry this sense of relaxation and gratitude with you as you move forward.”
[Pause]
