Here’s a 7-minute meditation script that you can read at the end of your fitness Pilates class:
- Find a comfortable seated or lying position, and close your eyes.
- Take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this for a few more breaths, until you start to feel more relaxed.
- Focus on your breath, and let any thoughts or worries drift away. Allow yourself to be fully present in the moment.
- Visualize yourself in a peaceful place, surrounded by nature. Imagine a warm sun shining down on you, and a gentle breeze blowing through the trees.
- Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine all the tension and stress in your body flowing out with your breath. Repeat this several times, until you feel completely relaxed and calm.
- Focus on your body, and imagine yourself filled with a sense of peace and well-being. Allow this feeling to spread throughout your entire body, starting from your toes and working its way up to the top of your head.
- When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes. Take one last deep breath in, and exhale slowly. Get up, stretch and take a moment to thank yourself for taking care of your body and mind.
Remember to be kind and gentle with yourself, and allow yourself to fully experience the peace and calm that you have created within.
