🤯Would you love to teach pilates on the reformer but unsure how you can get access to the right equipment?
Here are some practical approaches:
✅Local Gyms and Studios: Many Pilates studios have reformers available for rent or use. Contact local studios to see if they offer rental options, especially if you’re already qualified. Larger gym chains may also have reformer setups if they offer Pilates classes, so it’s worth reaching out directly.
✅ Studio Partnerships: Collaborating with studios that already have reformers can be beneficial, as you might be able to negotiate a revenue-sharing model or rental fee per session.
✅Reformer Leasing Companies: Several companies in the UK offer leasing options for reformers, which can be cost-effective if you plan to use them frequently but aren’t ready to make a full purchase.
✅Shared Spaces: Co-working spaces or shared wellness spaces sometimes have reformers or can accommodate them if you bring your own. Check out co-working spaces geared toward fitness and wellness professionals.
✅Community Centres and Spas: Some community centers and spas with wellness facilities are open to offering Reformer Pilates if they see local demand. Reach out to see if they would be open to hosting your classes and potentially investing in reformers.
✅Purchasing a Reformer: If you’re looking to build a more personal client base or offer 1:1 sessions, buying your own reformer might be worthwhile. Many brands Align-Pilates, which we use, offer models with payment options.
Once you have access to reformers, you can also look into offering both in-person and group reformer classes if you have the right setup!
