    Good Morning

Here is the weekly FP newsletter with snippets and updates!

THANK YOU to all who joined us on the Manchester C2GO tour on the weekend it was a brilliant day!

ANNOUNCEMENT: We have relaunched the Fitness Pilates HOT Certification.

We used to run this course pre covid but recently have had demand as new HOT Studios are popping up around the world. The HOT certification is not “Do all the same exercises but in a hot studio”  There is a different methodology of which exercises to do in what order and why and it is important to understand how the body reacts to exercises in the heat. The heat is wonderful for people with aches, pains, and  injuries and so works so well with FP. Here are the details to book click here

    Qualification Summer School

We are running a special SUMMER SCHOOL series with a 2 hour pre planning and training session  for each course to ensure you are clear about the course, how to complete and to pass quickly.
All course are online and the planning days will be recorded if you can’t make it live.

    A NEW 5 Minute Meditation

I have been adding these weekly to the FP newsletter – Are they helpful would you like me to continue

Welcome, Pilates teachers, to this 5-minute guided meditation. Find a comfortable seated position, either on a chair or on the floor, with your spine upright and your body relaxed. Close your eyes gently, or soften your gaze. Let’s begin.

Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs with fresh air. Exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension or stress you may be holding onto. Feel yourself grounding into the present moment.

Bring your attention to your body. Notice any areas of tightness or discomfort. As you inhale, imagine a wave of relaxation flowing through your body, gently loosening any tension. As you exhale, imagine that tension leaving your body, dissolving into the air.
Now, bring your awareness to your breath.

Notice the natural rhythm of your breath as it flows in and out. Feel the coolness of the air as you inhale and the warmth as you exhale. Allow your breath to become your anchor, keeping you rooted in the present.

As you continue to breathe deeply, visualise a beautiful, serene place in nature. It could be a peaceful beach, a tranquil forest, or a majestic mountain. Picture yourself there, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and sensations of this place.

Notice the gentle breeze on your skin, the soft sounds of nature, and the vibrant colours around you. As you inhale, imagine that you are breathing in the energy and tranquility of this place. And as you exhale, release any tension or thoughts that no longer serve you.

Take a moment to connect with your intention for this meditation. As a Pilates teacher, you guide others in finding balance, strength, and peace within themselves. In this moment, set the intention to cultivate these qualities within yourself.

Now, bring your attention back to your breath. With each inhale, imagine yourself breathing in calmness and clarity. With each exhale, release any distractions or worries. Allow yourself to fully embrace this present moment, free from judgment or expectations.

Know that you have the power to tap into this sense of calm and clarity at any time. As you go about your day, remember to take moments for yourself, to reconnect with your breath, and to find stillness within.

Take a deep breath in, filling your lungs with gratitude for this practice. And as you exhale, gently open your eyes, bringing your awareness back to the space around you.

Thank yourself for taking this time for self-care and for nurturing your inner peace. Carry this sense of calmness and clarity with you as you continue to inspire and guide others in their Pilates journey.

Have a lovely week and hope to see you in BRISTOL on Saturday for the C2GO Tour

    LOVE Rachel xxxx
