    Fitness Pilates Newsletter 13th May

Have you thought about running a retreat?

    Good Morning

We ran our second Fitness Pilates Wellbeing retreat on Thursday at Champneys and it went so well, a fantastic way to spend a day for relaxing, gaining knowledge and new ideas, enjoying beautiful food in luxurious surroundings.

Would you love to run your own Fitness Pilates 1 day Retreat in a local venue?

Here is a check list to help and get you brainstorming.

1:Define the goals and objectives of the Pilates retreat – Is it new FP sessions, is it an “experience” with other practitioners, oris the theme a general “time for you” wellbeing/relaxing theme.

2:Choose a Suitable Venue: Select a local venue that can accommodate the number of participants in nice surroundings that has a relaxing vibe about it.

3:Plan the Schedule: Create a detailed schedule for the retreat, including specific Pilates sessions, breaks, meals, and all additional activities, speakers or workshops. Less is more and build in lots of breaks and chill our time, try not to pack to much in and it be rushed and stressy.

4:Plan the Foo and refreshments: Organise healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the retreat day. Is the food catered for by the venue or outside meal prep company or are you not doing food?

5: What is the price point and do you offer an early bird booking offer?

6:Promote the Retreat: Develop a marketing strategy to promote the retreat through social media, newsletters, flyers, local fitness communities, and word-of-mouth. Provide clear information about the event, registration details, and  early bird offers, make videos, go live, create canva graphics and have a limited amount of spots. I take a max of 20 people on our 1 day retreats.

7:Set Registration Process: Establish a seamless registration process for participants, including online registration forms and payment options. Keep track of the number of registrations and communicate with participants about any necessary details or updates.

9:Create information packs for participants, including the retreat schedule, details about instructors, any sponsors, logistics info on parking, if changes of clothes is require, what to bring, what to wear etc.
*Do you need any helpers to manage the day with you?

10:Your retreat can be an evening – a twilight retreat, half day, full day or weekend and can be a regular part of your business.

I would love to hear about your  retreat if you decide to go for it there are many many ways you can run retreats and I hope this gets you started.

My next Champneys retreats will run in June, September and a Pre Xmas December.

    Love Rachel xxx
