Great to see so many FP Teachers at the More Mobility workshop this week. Newbies to FP and beginners often struggle with joint mobility. Stiff and tight joints can prevent people from doing the most simple daily tasks, therefore, a great way of attracting new people into your classes, is to offer Express Mobility classes and incorporate more mobility drills into your FP classes.
Work on increasing range of motion around key joints makes FP exercises easier to perform.
Tips To Add More Mobility Into Your FP Classes
- Start your classes with foot and ankle work – mobilising the foot and working up into the ankle.
- Warm up the Knees thoroughly with mobility drills before squatting or lunging.
- Take the hips through all ranges of motion in standing and quadruped.
- Add spinal mobility in standing.
- Mobilise shoulders before the neck
- Add Wrist and elbow mobility exercises.
