Good Morning  

This week on Facebook LIve on my business page we have been talking about some BIG issues in the fitness industry.
Firstly, ageing as a Fitpro.
How many times have you heard:

” You are NOT going to be able to do that forever”
“What are you going to do when you can teach any more”

Nearly every day someone says something like that so we had a great conversation about how we all plan to keep on teaching till we are 100!

We moved onto PAY… ALWAYS a contentious issue.
In Health Club Management magazine this week Jac Phillip, who is head of communications at Les Mills wrote

“To attract top talent, studios, gyms and health clubs need to pay more”

WOW, we KNOW that!
In London, it is reported that many of the new boutiques are paying £100 + per class. There is clearly a HUGE differential in what is being paid in central London to the rest of the country, one Instructor in Bristol said her basic is £13 a class.

Claire Tamms a Group X Manager in Crewe said she wanted to pay more but her studio budget doesn’t allow it.
Great conversations that will run and run for sure.
