5 Minute January Relaxation Script
[0:00 – 0:30] Welcome to this January relaxation session. Find a comfortable and quiet space to sit or lie down. Close your eyes gently and take a moment to settle in.
[0:30 – 1:00] Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely. Hold for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Let go of any tension with each breath.
[1:00 – 1:30] Now, bring your awareness to your body. Start with your toes and work your way up, scanning for any areas of tension. As you find tension, imagine it melting away with each breath.
[1:30 – 2:00] Feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you. Allow yourself to fully relax, releasing any worries or stress from the previous month.
[2:00 – 2:30] Imagine a warm, golden light surrounding you. This light represents the beginning of the new year, full of possibilities and opportunities. Feel its gentle warmth and positivity enveloping you.
[2:30 – 3:00] As we start this new month, take a moment to reflect on your intentions and goals for January. What would you like to achieve? Visualize your aspirations coming to life, one step at a time.
[3:00 – 3:30] Now, let’s focus on your breath. Inhale deeply, counting to four, and exhale slowly, counting to four. Continue this rhythmic breathing, allowing it to calm your mind and body.
[3:30 – 4:00] Imagine yourself stepping into January with confidence and determination. Picture yourself achieving your goals for this month, and believe in your ability to make positive changes.
[4:00 – 4:30] With each breath, let go of any remaining tension or doubts. You are ready for a fresh start in January, embracing the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
[4:30 – 5:00] Slowly start to become aware of your surroundings. When you’re ready, gently open your eyes. Carry this sense of relaxation and optimism with you as you begin this new month.
