We are a group exercise class focussing on Menopausal Health and Fitness on the Isle of Man.

We deliver exercise classes and workshops targeting Peri-Menopausal , Menopausal and Post-Menopausal women.

As a menopausal woman who has taught group exercise classes for nearly 20 years, I felt that there was a need for this type of class for women at this stage of their lives, who are often forgotten about, in terms of group exercise and support with their symptoms.

Myself and Amy completed the training and decided to start with monthly workshops to gauge interest.

From there we delivered pop up classes with specific low impact exercise and in January we launched our first month of classes/workshops.

The classes consist of 35 minutes exercise and 25 minutes of ‘Menochat’, covering various menopausal topics. These have worked well and we are getting ready to deliver our second month of classes.

We have generated interest from other menopause groups on the island too.

We are about to take part in a Health and Well being day at our local Sports Centre, after being invited to attend.

We are so pleased and passionate about this subject and can’t thank Rachel Holmes enough for her innovative and informative training course. It’s been wonderful to complete and a fantastic programme to deliver. “
