Here is a 5-Minute Fitness Pilates Meditation Script for January 2025 to use in your classes:
Introduction (1 Minute)
Begin by finding a comfortable seated or lying-down position. Close your eyes, and allow your body to settle. Let the events of the day gently fade away as you bring your focus inward.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, feeling your lungs expand fully.
Now exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any tension.
Let’s do that two more times:
Inhale deeply… and exhale, softening your shoulders and jaw.
One more inhale… and as you exhale, let your entire body feel grounded and supported by the floor beneath you.
Grounding in the Present Moment (2 Minutes)
As we move into this new year, imagine yourself grounded and strong, just like the earth beneath you. Picture roots growing from your body into the ground, connecting you to stability and strength.
Now, shift your focus to your breath.
- Notice the natural rhythm: the gentle rise of your chest and the fall of your belly as you exhale.
- Each breath brings you fully into the present moment.
Repeat silently in your mind with each breath:
- Inhale: “I am grounded.”
- Exhale: “I am ready.”
Allow this mantra to anchor you as you envision yourself stepping into January with purpose and ease.
Visualisation for Renewal (1 Minute)
As you breathe, picture a soft, golden light surrounding you. This light represents renewal, energy, and possibility.
Feel this light washing over you, gently warming your body and filling you with positivity and strength.
- Imagine it flowing to your shoulders, releasing tension.
- Down your arms, bringing energy.
- Into your core, empowering you.
This light symbolizes the fresh opportunities and strength awaiting you in 2025.
Closing (1 Minute)
Take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time to pause, breathe, and reset. As you prepare to return to your day, carry with you the grounding, strength, and renewal you cultivated here.
When you’re ready, take a deep breath in… and exhale fully.
Wiggle your fingers and toes, gently reawakening your body.
Open your eyes when you’re ready, and step forward into your day or evening with clarity and calm.
